2nd Shift Warehouse Leadership Team is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Team by leading and coordinating the activities of all warehouse personnel and shipping/receiving functions in a consistent and professional manner. This includes all warehouse operations, including the identification and communication of department goals and teamwork, and various professional development aspects such as maintaining and promoting a positive workplace environment, employee morale, staff training and development, and promoting/enforcing safety rules and regulations to maintain a positive workplace safety culture.
- SALARY: From $22.00 an hour plus shift differential
Essential Functions
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances, consistently promoting professional conduct.
- Confer with Warehouse Management and other management staff outside of the warehouse to ensure coordination of other functions such as production, inventory management, quality assurance, maintenance, safety, & human resources.
- Identify employee skills and development by coaching and counseling employees on a regular basis.
- Assist in conducting performance reviews and provide continual feedback on both positive & negative performance.
- Partner with the Director of Warehouse & Human Resources Department to ensure proper documentation and resolution of matters regarding employee performance review and disciplinary action.
- Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures, including the promotion and enforcement of safety rules and regulations, maintaining a consistent and positive workplace safety culture.

JOB FUNCTIONS
Mechanical truck / trailer repairs to include;
- Tractors, trailers, straight truck
- Reefer units
- Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Run diagnostic tests for routine maintenance
- Repair malfunctioning components, retrofit engines, change brakes, adjust steering systems, replace worn-out parts and change hydraulic fluids
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of welding torches and welding
- Test drive trucks before and after repairs
- Make road calls as needed
- Purchase parts & maintain records
- Follow applicable policies and regulatory compliance
- Performs other assigned duties from transportation management
REQUIREMENTS
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years or more of related work experience
- Class A commercial driver’s license
- Class 7 inspection license
- Class 609 refrigeration license
- Communication to drivers and or customers
- Good decision-making ability
- Flexibility to meet demands of the business
- Must be able to obtain and maintain other applicable certifications, licenses, and permits.
- Ability to work in extreme weather, noise, and environmental conditions with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)
Plant Location: John F. Martin & Sons, LLC. (Womelsdorf)
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of both Planned and Unplanned Maintenance to ensure that the plant operates at a high level of efficiency while upholding safety and quality.

- Your day will consist of preventative maintenance, corrective work and troubleshooting/repair. You will work with both mechanical and electrical systems.
